Sv.Filip i Jakov,a seaside resort in the Pasman channel,3 km northwest from Biograd na Moru far,has about 1700 inhabitants.The economy is based on         agriculture,wine growing,vegetable growing and tourism.It streches along the Adriatic Highway (M2,E65).Sv.Filip i Jakov offers a various accommodation (hotels,tourist villages) lovely beaches,clear sea,pleasant walks,sport and recreation (tennis,sailing),catering and since the sixties a lot of tourists have been visiting it.In 1955 a tourist associatian "Napredak" was founded.A traditional summer festival "Filipijansko ljeto" takes place in the first half of August when visitors can enjoy in numerous cultural and entertainment events.On August 16 a religious holiday of  St.Roko,a patron of municipality,is particularly worshiped.Sailing fans will be attracted by the  vicinity of beautiful Kornati islands,which there are organized excursions for.
