:: NECUJAM - ISLAND SOLTA ::

©olta consists of main land of the island and seven small islands in front of the west harbour Maslinica. It has an area of 57,886 square km. Together with small islands ( Polebrnjak, Saskinja, Balkin, ©arac, Grmej, Stipanska ) the area is 58,875 square km. It is 13th biggest island in Croatia. ©olta is in the middle part of Dalmatia and is very convinient for nautical tourism and sports fishing.

Important places are small harbours Maslinica, Rogač, Nečujam ans Stomorska, and villages Grohote, Donje Selo, Srednje Selo and Gornje Selo. The main place and centre of the island is Grohote.

NECUJAM

Many people consider Nečujam as the most beautiful cove of the island. It is the youngest place, too. Today it is a modern touristic place full of modern apartment blocks. The old building, Marul s seaside resort is now a part of modern apartment settlement. In summer this is a centre of tourism on the island. Connention with Split by ferry has assured quick development of tourism in Nečujam.
